What this is about

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Websites also use similar techniques, such as local storage and session storage in your browser. This page covers all of them.

Without your consent this site only uses what it needs to work. Statistics and ad measurement only start when you allow them in the cookie notice, and you choose per purpose.

Necessary, always on

These are needed to show the site, to remember your choices and to send a form. They do not require consent. They are all set by Ocean Wave Agency itself (first party).

• owa_lang (local storage): your language choice. Kept until you clear your browser data
• owa_cookie_consent and owa_cookie_consent_at (local storage): your choice in the cookie notice and when you made it, so we do not ask again. Kept for 12 months, after which we ask again
• owa_utm and owa_utms (session storage): the campaign through which you arrived, for example an ad or a link in a social media profile, so that a request you send is linked to that campaign. Deleted when you close the tab, and only sent to us if you submit a form
• owa_starters_code (session storage): your organisation's partner code for the startup programme, so the startup benefit is applied to your request. Deleted when you close the tab, and only sent to us if you send a request
• Technical settings the site needs to load and to send the request form
• A login token, only for team members of Ocean Wave Agency who log in to the internal tools

Statistics, only with your consent

If you allow statistics, our hosting platform Base44 measures page visits so we can see in aggregate how the site is used: which pages are opened, how long a visit lasts and which campaign it came from.

• base44_analytics_session_id (local storage, Base44 on behalf of Ocean Wave Agency): a pseudonymous session identifier. Deleted when you decline or withdraw statistics

We do not use these figures to identify you and we do not combine them with the data from a form. Without your consent these statistics stay off and no identifier is created.

Ad measurement, only with your consent

If you allow ad measurement, we load Google Ads (account AW-18530638452) and, once active, the Meta pixel. They measure whether one of our ads led to a request or a click on our phone number. We send them no name, email address or phone number.

• _gcl_au and, when you arrive through a Google ad, _gcl_aw (cookies on our domain, set by Google): link a request to the ad click. Usually kept for 90 days
• Google may also use its own cookies on google.com or doubleclick.net (for example IDE). Google determines their retention, see policies.google.com
• _fbp and, when you arrive through a Meta ad, _fbc (cookies on our domain, set by Meta, only once the Meta pixel is active): link a request to the ad. Usually kept for 90 days
• owa_ads_lead_fired_… (session storage, Ocean Wave Agency): makes sure one request is not counted twice. Contains a short code, not your email address. Deleted when you close the tab

Google and Meta receive technical data such as your IP address, a cookie identifier and the page visited, and may transfer it to the United States. For Meta we are jointly responsible with Meta for collecting and passing on that data; Meta is responsible for what it does with it afterwards. More information is in the privacy policies of Google (policies.google.com) and Meta (facebook.com/privacy).

Without your consent these scripts do not load and nothing is sent to Google or Meta. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the cookies above from our domain.

Other services

• The typeface of this site is stored on our own server. Your browser does not contact Google or another provider for it
• The videos on this site are hosted by us and do not load a third-party video player
• The checkout for a trial or subscription runs on Stripe (checkout.stripe.com), with its own cookies for payment security. See stripe.com/privacy

Your choices

On your first visit you can decline everything or accept everything with one click, or choose per purpose. Declining has no consequences for using the site. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, parts of the site may not work.
